Why I started Huntersville Accounting & Advisory
Before opening this practice, I spent over a decade on the finance side of institutional real estate — starting in public accounting auditing real estate funds and REITs, then moving into corporate finance leadership roles supporting publicly traded and private-equity-backed platforms.
Today, I bring that same institutional discipline to small businesses right here in Huntersville and the Lake Norman area — regardless of industry, whether that's construction, retail, professional services, or anything else. My focus is simple: give you clean, current numbers you can actually trust and act on, not a report you glance at once a month.
Ultimately, it comes down to three things: building real relationships in the community I call home, giving small business owners here the financial support they deserve, and putting over a decade of private equity and public company financial reporting experience to work somewhere it can make a genuine difference. And I mean that beyond just the client relationship — when local businesses grow, the whole community gets stronger: more jobs, more reasons to shop and eat here, more reinvestment in the place we all live. I want Huntersville Accounting & Advisory to be a real contributor to that, not just another vendor invoice. Every business I help get stronger is a small win for Huntersville and the greater Lake Norman area.
Outside the office, I'm a husband and father of four. I grew up in New Jersey with a love for the beach, hiking, baseball, and pretty much anything active — these days that mostly means keeping up with my kids. I'm involved in my church and enjoy being an active part of the local community, which is part of why growing the businesses around me feels personal, not just professional.
